Former 'Bachelor' Peter Weber Reveals The Truth About Relationship With Kelley Flanagan

After much speculation, Bachelor Nation finally got an answer to the question they've been wanting to know: Are Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan dating?

Fans and internet sleuths alike have scoured the internet reading into any clues that the two "Bachelor" alums had reunited after Peter had sent Kelley home during his season at the reigns of the ABC show and his subsequent breakups with Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett. Now, the airline pilot is setting the record straight.

Speaking to fellow "Bachelor" alum Nick Viall on the "Viall Files" podcast released on Tuesday, Peter openly discussed his past, present, and potential future with Kelley.

"There's a lot of stuff that people don't know," he began. "My relationship with Kelley has been... serendipitous. You go all the way back to the very beginning—us running into each other before any of this stuff started. Obviously, the show happened and it didn't work out for us."

As fans know, that's not where their story would end. Peter explained that the two reunited in February over Super Bowl weekend in Miami.

"I'm out with Dylan [Barbour] and Devin [Harris] and I was texting Kristian [Haggerty], asking her if she wanted to come out with us," the 28-year-old recalled. "She comes out with us, she's with Kelley. Me not knowing this. They show up, I see Kelley again... jaw drops. We chat, we end up hanging out and that's when I got her number. We started to communicate and just stay in touch."

As for how Peter and Kelley ended up quarantined together, Peter admitted that he didn't want to stay home and put his parents at risk amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"She's always been supportive of me," he gushed. "Long story short, I wasn't working so I thought I'd go out there [to Chicago] and spend some time with her, take her mind off some [family] things."

"This was right when everything was starting to hit with the quarantine stuff... and it kind of just became a thing where we've always gotten along really well, and had really good chemistry," he continued. "We just enjoy each other's company. I just decided to quarantine up here with Dustin as well."

So, are Peter and Kelley dating?

"No," the former "Bachelor" revealed. "Do I love spending time with her? Absolutely. We're not dating."

Just because he is not dating the brunette lawyer doesn't mean they couldn't be in the future.

"Could I see that in the future? Yeah, of course. I'd be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened," Peter admitted. "Of anyone, I'm the last person that needs to rush into any kind of relationship. I just had an engagement that didn't work out. I just was trying to pursue things with another woman that didn't work out. That's why right now, I'm just taking it really, really slow."
