Former Colorado Secretary of State Natalie Meyer has been located and is safe, according to the Denver Police Department.

The 89-year-old was reported missing and an endangered adult. She was missing since December 22 and was last seen in the 6500 block of West Mansfield Avenue near Pinehurst Country Club in southwest Denver, said the Denver Post, citing the police.

The Denver Police Department (DPD), who reported on Meyer's disappearance, said in a Twitter post Monday that she may be driving a white 2011 Toyota Avalon with a Colorado plate “1SOS.”

She is described to be 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 170 pounds, the post added.

The DPD is asking the help of the public with any information on the whereabouts of Meyer or her vehicle.

Meyer served as the Secretary of the State of Colorado from 1983 until 1995.
