Sammie Spades, who worked as a part-time intern for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the summer of 2006, has abandoned her political aspirations to become an all-out porn star, TMZ reported.

Spades, whose real name is Samantha Kogelman, was going to a community college in Buffalo, New York, when she met then-Senator Clinton at a banquet and expressed interest in a summer internship.

Spades says she was accepted as a 2006 summer intern at Clinton's Buffalo office, but her dreams of a political career fizzled with money problems.

I was planning on becoming an attorney and then going into public office, she said, but gave it up when she found out that porn paid pretty well.

As for what the Secretary of State would think of her now, Spades said, I don't think Hillary would be too happy, but I have nothing but respect for Mrs. Clinton.
