Former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star Althea Heart Leaves Jail Following Confrontation With Ex Benzino

Althea Heart is finally out of jail. The former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was released from an Atlanta jail after spending 10 days behind bars.

According to TMZ, Althea was seen leaving the jail Friday. The outlet reported that she was locked up following a restraining order hearing she had with her ex-fiancé Benzino. The music producer was the one who was seeking the order. Because Althea contacted Benzino, which she was not allowed to do, a judge ordered her to be immediately jailed.

The Jasmine Brand reported that Althea has been in jail since last week. Althea and Benzino have been going through relationship issues for the past year. The former couple, who welcomed their first child in November, tried to work through their drama on Season 4 of WE tv’s “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.” The pair often bickered on the show, but ended things on a positive note deciding to stay together. However, not long after the finale aired in February, Benzino and Althea split again.

Fans have had a front row seat to Benzino and Althea’s issues because they often air each other’s dirty laundry on social media. In March, Althea posted an Instagram message slamming Benzino and accusing him of trying to take their son away from her. “I take good care of my son … This man wants to take my son from me! I don’t deserve this! Please please,” she wrote. “This is the only way he cares. He loves the fame he loves Instagram he doesn’t truly love me because s--- would be normal, this ain’t normal! I’m fighting til the end.”

Benzino fired back writing on his own Instagram account that he and baby Zino were going to be fine. “Please don’t feed into lies and deception, that the DEVILS work, we all about love and God over here,” he wrote.
