Former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ Couple Omarion And Apryl Jones ‘Started To Fade Out Of Love’: Report

Omarion and his longtime love Apryl Jones shocked their fans when they announced their breakup. The former couple, who started dating in 2012 and have two kids together, revealed it was a mutual decision to end their relationship. A new report claims that Omarion and Apryl tried to work through their issues, but in the end realized it was better they split.

A source told E! News that former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” couple “started to fade out of love” with each other. “This has been something they have been trying to work and build stronger for a while now,” the source said, adding that Omarion’s hectic schedule took a “toll on Apryl.”

“She is a great mother, and he will support her and his family,” the insider added. Apryl also opened up about the beakup telling the outlet that she’s focusing on her children. “Omari and I have decided to part our own ways,” she said. “We are doing what’s best for our children.

The aspiring singer also had a few words about her ex’s friend Bow Wow taking to Instagram to share his excitement over the couple’s split. On Monday, the “CSI: Cyber” star, who went through a bitter breakup with former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Erica Mena last year, wrote that he wanted to take Omarion to a strip club to help him move on. “Bro you got your freedom! We can hang again!!! Lets go take a bad to AOD tonight. There’s plenty of ig thots and fake dancers bro in the world that will be happy to cheer you up during this time,” he wrote.

Apryl doesn’t seem like she was fazed by Bow Wow’s comments telling E! News that they can do whatever they feel like. “As far as Bow Wow, his friend is Omari. Whatever he feels like he needs [to] do or say for media purposes doesn’t pertain to me,” she explained. “I have two beautiful children that are my focus.”

Apryl and Omarion announced their breakup Sunday via their social media accounts. The “Post To Be” singer wrote on Instagram that despite he and Apryl ending their romance, they would remain good friends. “We continue to love and support one another and still share a common goal to remain friends while being great parents to our children,” he said.

Apryl tweeted that she was “single,” and then explained in a Snapchat video that she and her former beau simply grew apart. Their split came just months after Apryl gave birth to their daughter A’Mei. They are also parents to a son named Megaa.
