  • Jeremy Lin is recovering well after testing positive for COVID-19
  • Lin hopes to move to hotel quarantine once he gets cleared
  • Lin will suit up for the Beijing Ducks in the CBA once again this October

Jeremy Lin appears to be well after testing positive for COVID-19 earlier this month.

The 32-year-old cager gave an update on his social media account and seems on course to return to Chinese basketball action.

Lin hopes to return to hotel quarantine soon. After arriving in Shanghai, China from San Francisco, the former NBA player tested positive for COVID-19 on the third day of his quarantine.

This was even though he has already gotten jabbed twice. The results also came after Lin had tested negative before his departure.

"I’m feeling a lot better and am continuing to appreciate the care out here in Shanghai. It’s been a time of recovery, self-reflection, and rest. As soon as I test consistently negative, I leave the COVID facility to restart my 14-day hotel quarantine.,” Lin wrote on his Instagram.

Lin re-signed with the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) after his NBA comeback bid fell short.

Ironically, “Linsanity” saw action for the Ducks during the 2019-20 season, where he helped the team make the playoffs.

After that, he left the team to try his luck and make the NBA ranks once more. He played in the NBA G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors and was one of the prominent performers on the team.

Unfortunately, the effort failed to capture the attention of NBA teams and Lin decided to return to the CBA.

The CBA is set to open on October 16 although the league may have to stage it with no foreign players present.

Lin owns a Taiwanese passport, allowing him to play as a local player.
