Is Former 'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans Back Together With Her Ex? Why It's Possible

New year, old flame? That seems to be the case for Jenelle Evans.

The former "Teen Mom 2" star was spotted out with her ex, David Eason, on Saturday in Nashville. According to TMZ, the pair enjoyed a few drinks at the Kitchen & Rooftop Bar. They apparently also had dinner together at Famous Dave's one night earlier. This isn' the first time the two have been seen together lately.

In January, Jenelle and David were out on a stroll with their daughter, 2-year-old Kinsley. At the time sources revealed that the two were together for co-parenting purposes, but, based on the latest photographic evidence, it seems more may have come from them spending time together as a family.

While it's not uncommon for exes to get back together, it was a bit of a shock to see these two reality stars back together after the very public and detailed breakup they went through. It all started when Jenelle announced that she would be making some life changes.

"I've mostly kept off social media the past few days because I've been focused on making some big life decisions... I want what's best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from 'Teen Mom' I've started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes," she wrote on Oct. 2019.

The mother of three added that she "filed papers" to start the process of splitting from David, who she married in 2017.

Just days after the split, Jenelle received an order of protection against her estranged husband.

"Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children's well-being," she wrote in the Nov. 4 filing.

Things between the former couple must have calmed down since then because when it came time to renew the restraining order in January, Jenelle voluntarily dismissed it. It was following this dismissal that they were first spotted out together.

Although all the signs point to Jenelle and David working on their relationship, neither party has spoken out about it. However, fans could possibly see it play out on television--probably not MTV, though.

"I'm officially out of contract with MTV in April," Jenelle told E! News in early February. "That was the only thing I was waiting on to move forward. Once April comes around, I can start talking to other networks, thank God!"
