Former World Champion, Rag-Tag Contenders Added To ONE: Reloaded On April 22

Determined to sustain the momentum established by its historic 10th-anniversary extravaganza last March 26, ONE Championship has released the full bout lineup for its follow-up card entitled “ONE: Reloaded” on April 22.

Among the notables names slated to compete at the aforementioned event set to emanate from the 12,000-seater Singapore Indoor Stadium is former ONE strawweight champion Yosuke Saruta (21-10-3), who will go up against Cuban spitfire Gustavo Balart (9-4) in a three-round collision.

Saruta looks to kickstart his road to redemption after bowing to division kingpin Joshua Pacio in their September 2021 rubber match by way of first-round knockout, whereas Balart seeks to clinch his second win in a row at the expense of the Japanese.

Joining Saruta and Balart at ONE: Reloaded are one-time world title contenders Agilan Thani (10-6) of Malaysia and Ayaka Miura (11-4) of Japan.

Thani is booked to battle South Korea’s Jin Tae Ho (10-5) in a welterweight clash, while Miura will welcome promotional newcomer and fellow strawweight Dayane Souza (8-1-1) of Brazil.

Several mixed martial arts (MMA) matches are scheduled to take part in the festivities on April 22, including the featherweight tiff between Keanu Subba and Demetrious Johnson’s teammate James Yang, Dae Sung Park’s return to action versus Brazil’s Abraao Amorim, and Chen Rui locking horns with Song Min Jon in a bantamweight bout.

Meanwhile, ONE: Reloaded’s main card will feature the three-round MMA strawweight tussle, pitting ex-Deep titleholder Namiki Kawahara against Australian kickboxer Danial Williams.

ONE Super Series will likewise get a fair share of the spotlight as apart from the two headlining match-ups that have Regian Eersel defending his kickboxing lightweight belt opposite Arian Sadikovic and Jackie Buntan vying for the inaugural women’s Muay Thai strawweight title against Smilla Sundell, three more fights from the Singapore-based organization’s all-striking arm are penciled to happen on the same card.

Muay Thai veteran Liam Harrison will go head-to-head with Muangthai PK.Saenchai, Anissa Meksen vs. Marie Ruumet will square off against Marie Ruumet in a Muay Thai showdown, and Andrei Stoica will aim for his second-straight victory versus Giannis Stoforidis under kickboxing rules.

On the other hand, a 65-kilogram catchweight submission-only match will serve as the special attraction of ONE: Reloaded as Japanese grappling maestro Masakazu Imanari is set to duke it out with Mikey Musumeci.

ONE: Reloaded will be aired live worldwide via streaming on watch.onefc.com.
