Four Countries in East Asia faces internet slowdown
Four countries in East Asia are experiencing slow internet connection due to typhoon Morakot that slashed villages including undersea cables.
Internet users in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines faces internet slowdown including Voice calls as the unders sea cables suffered from the damages it has received from typhoon Morakot.
The damaged undersea cables were connecting to websites hosted in the United States and a possible reroute must be done to restore the services.
Telecommunications operators affected due to typhoon in East Asia are now collaborating to restore and use other alternative routes to bring back full scale Internet service.
