French Montana Explains His ‘Special’ Relationship With Ex Khloé Kardashian, Says They’ll Always Be ‘Best Friends’

Khloé Kardashian and French Montana may not be dating anymore, but the rapper clearly still has some love for her. French opened up about his special bond with the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, admitting that he thinks they will always remain close, despite them ending their relationship in December 2015.

According to People magazine, the 31-year-old rapper dished on constantly being linked to Khloé and her famous siblings saying he’s completely OK with it. “We’re gonna be friends forever, me and Khloé,” he explained at a Las Vegas event. “We got a special kind of relationship. That’s one of my best friends.”

Khloé and French have definitely proved that exes can still be friends. As previously reported, the 31-year-old reality star was spotted hanging out with the “Don’t Panic” rapper earlier this month at Hyde Sunset Kitchen and Cocktails in Los Angeles. The pair was eventually joined by Kylie Jenner before they all went out to party.

French has also managed to stay really close with his ex-girlfriend’s family. Kylie often makes appearances on French’s Instagram and last week the rapper gave Kourtney Kardashian a sweet birthday shout-out.

According to E! Online, one of the reasons Khloé and French have stayed so close is because they share the same circle of friends. “French Montana would get back together with Khloé in a second if she would be willing to give it another shot,” a source said. “She just wants to remain friends.”

In fact, Khloé lashed out in February at reports that she and French were a couple again after they were spotted a friend’s birthday bash together. “Why is hard to believe that exes can be cordial? Simple, simple, simple minds. Don’t make nothing into something,” she tweeted. “It’s frustrating that I can’t even celebrate my friend’s birthday with a group of people without rumors flying?”
