French Open 2014: TV Channel, Live Stream Info And Schedule For Weekend Matches

The third round of the French Open is already underway at Roland Garros Saturday, with the fourth round set to starting Sunday.

Eight-time winner Rafael Nadal is currently battling Argentina’s Leonardo Mayer in the third round at the main Court Philippe Chatrier, and is up one set 6-2. The winner moves on to face Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic.

Later Saturday on the same court, France’s Richard Gasquet takes on Spain’s Fernando Verdasco. It will be the 14th career match between Gasquet and Verdasco, who owns the all-time mark at 7-6 and broke the tie with a two-set victory in the round of 32 at Indian Wells earlier this year. They’ve also split six matches on clay 3-3.

Whoever prevails gets the winner between Great Britain’s Andy Murray and Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber. Murray is hoping to best his 2011 semifinal run at Roland Garros, but Kohlschreiber has taken their sole pairing back in Monaco in 2010, also on clay.

One of two Americans left on the men’s singles side, Donald Young is presently facing Spain’s Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. Young, 24, has a six-year age advantage over Garcia-Lopez and took him down in 2011 in the round of 16 at Bangkok 6-1 6-7(0) 7-5.

France’s Gael Monfils and Italy’s Fabio Fognini are holding down Court Suzanne Lenglen. Monfils owned the first set 7-5, but Fognini bounced back with an overwhelming 6-2 second, and it appears the match could go deep into a fifth set. Their last meeting at Indian Wells this year went to Fognini 6-2 3-6 7-5, and the victor meets either Young or Garcia-Lopez.
