Frontier Passenger Arrested For Groping And Fighting Flight Attendants, Was Forced To Be Taped To Seat
A male passenger on a Frontier Airlines flight Saturday was arrested after grabbing the breasts of two flight attendants and for punching another in the face, according to a police report.
Maxwell Berry, 22, from Norwalk, Ohio, was flying from Philadelphia to Miami. He reportedly had two drinks on the flight and inappropriately brushed his empty cup up against one of the flight attendants' back, according to Miami-Dade Police.
Berry was arrested at Miami International Airport and charged with three counts of misdemeanor battery. He was freed on a $1,500 bond.
Berry then was seen groping the breasts of two flight attendants by wrapping his arms around them. The flight attendants then called for help, and a "fight ensued." Berry reportedly punched a male flight attendant, who had stepped in.
The flight attendant who was called to help and nearby passengers, held Berry down to restrain him for the rest of the flight. The report says that they then “had to tape him down to the seat and tie him with a seatbelt extender.”
The flight attendants were placed on paid leave while the case is being investigated, according to Frontier.
