Wanted since Nov. 11 on suspicion of murdering his neighbor, millionaire software pioneer John McAfee has begun blogging his life on the run from authorities in Belize, according to The New York Daily News.

American Gregory Viant Faull, the owner of a Florida construction business, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head. The two reportedly quarreled over McAfee's dogs, which were found poisoned last week. Originally, McAfee blamed their deaths on Faull, but he has since recanted that claim and implicated local police in the killings.

McAfee says that while he and Faull quarreled, he had nothing to do with his death. He is offering a $25,000 reward for the capture of Faull's killer.

McAfee believes he is being set up by law enforcement in Belize, whose gang suppression unit first targeted him in May when they received a tip that he might be running a meth lab in his home. He was arrested but never charged.

“I think I am an innocent person who was violated by the Belize Government,” McAfee wrote on his new blog. “This was the beginning of my antagonism with the Prime Minister and a few of his powerful associates. I have been a vocal opponent of the PM ever since and I will not stop until I receive my apology.”

Prime Minister Dean Barrow says McAfee has no reason to fear authorities, as he is only wanted for questioning. Furthermore, Barrow questions McAfee's mental state. The founder of McAfee antivirus software is a well-known expat on the Caribbean island of Amergris Caye, where, according to Reuters, he lives a hedonistic life with guns, women, bodyguards and drugs.

“I don’t want to be unkind to the gentleman, but I believe he is extremely paranoid, even bonkers,” Barrow said of McAfee to The Associated Press.

On the lam, McAfee has begun writing effusively on whoismcafee.com in an attempt to exonerate himself.

“With lots of time on my hands and very little to do with it, I’ve been reflecting on the recent detour my life has taken,” he wrote. “How did I end up as a murder suspect on the lam?”

McAfee, 67, along with a 20-year-old companion named Samantha, has begun dressing in costumes to disguise himself. He says he's colored his beard and hair and darkened his skin with shoe polish.

"I stuffed my cheeks with chewed bubble gum stuck to the outside of my upper and lower molars – making my face appear much fatter," he wrote. "I darkened and browned my front teeth. I stuffed a shaved down tampon deep into my right nostril and died the tip dark brown – giving my nose an awkward, lopsided, disgusting appearance."

McAfee claims that while he disliked Faull, he would never try to hurt him. He also believes he will be quickly executed if he's captured in Belize.
