Full Card For ONE Fight Night 7 Features Return Of Danny Kingad

ONE Fight Night 7 is set to be headlined by two title fights and will also feature the long-awaited return of Filipino flyweight star Danny Kingad.

"The King" has been out of action for nearly 13 months now and many wondered when the 27-year-old from the famed Team Lakay gym in La Trinidad, Philippines will ever be returning to the cage.

His first assignment since losing to Kairat Akhmetov at ONE: Winter Warriors 2 in December 2021 will have him take on Indonesia's Eko Roni Saputra, who is currently enjoying a nice seven-fight winning streak since dropping his promotional debut.

Kingad was supposed to make his return to action last December 3 at ONE 164, but his opponent Gurdarshan Mangat pulled out of the bout due to an undisclosed injury.

Despite the long layoff, Kingad can still show that he has the chops to compete once again in the upper echelon of the division by soundly beating Saputra.

Joining Kingad on the card is Martin Nguyen against the fearsome Shamil Gasanov.

Gasanov only a few minutes in his debut bout at ONE Fight Night 3 to prove that he can live up to the expectations ONE Championship fans had for him after handing Kim Jae Woong of South Korea his first submission loss in the promotion.

Meanwhile, Nguyen has been up and down in the past three years after logging a 3-3 record since 2019 with all of his losses via knockouts.

The Singapore-based combat sports promotion also announced that a submission grappling match has been scheduled for the card with rising star Danielle Kelly taking on Japan's Ayaka Miura.

Miura will be presenting the American with her toughest challenge to date as she carries with her years of wrestling experience and a black belt in judo plus all four of her wins in the promotion come via submission.

Kelly is no slouch herself after rolling with Mei Yamaguchi to a draw at ONE X in March 2022 and a wonderfully executed rear-naked choke to pick up the win against Mariia Molchanova at ONE Fight Night 4 nine months later.

Rounding out the main card are the kickboxing matches between bantamweights Saemapetch Fairtex and Zhang Chenglong plus the light heavyweight clash between the renowned Andrei Stoica and Francesko Xhaja.

The main event of ONE Fight Night 7 will see the bantamweight title rematch between the top two fighters in the division as the No. 1-ranked Fabricio Andrade will look to reach the top of the sport against the veteran and former champ John Lineker.

ONE Featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK.Saenchai will also have his first-ever title defense against Jamal Yusupov in the co-main event.

ONE Fight Night 7 will be airing live from the hallowed grounds of the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on February 24, 8:00 PM ET (February 25, 9:00 AM ET in Southeast Asia).
