‘Full House’ Stars Candace Bure, Bob Saget React To John Stamos Getting This Show Prop
John Stamos, better known as Uncle Jessie, is the proud owner of the plaid couch that tied together the Tanners' home in the ABC series “Full House.” Stamos waged quite a reaction from his co-stars after he shared a picture on Tuesday of the show prop inside of his home.
He captioned the photo: “Baby safety gate or one of the most iconic couches in pop TV history? You, make the call -”
The post definitely grabbed the attention of his fellow actors, who owned the couch in the show.
“I don’t know what it is John, but it comforts me,” Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner, commented. He later added, “Did you take the alcove too?”
Candace Cameron Bure, known for her role as DJ Tanner, was also surprised that her tv dad didn’t get the couch.
She questioned: “You got it?! Not Bob?”
Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner, one of Bure’s little sisters, on the sitcom also seemed surprised by the couch’s new owner.
“WHAAAAATTTT?!” Sweetin wrote.
Andrea Barber, who played the Tanners’ annoying neighbor Kimmy Gibbler, added, “Thief!”
“Billy, don’t grow up too much before we can see you next time!” Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo commented about Stamos’ son.
On Wednesday, Dave Couler commented on the post seemingly staying true to his comedic character Joey Gladstone. “A lot of my farts are still in that couch,” Coulier added. “Who got the sea pappy?”
Marla Sokoloff, who also stars in “Fuller House” as Gia Mahan, added: “Incredible __”
Many of the cast members have reclaimed their roles in the series spin-off “Fuller House.”
It has been previously reported that the franchise will soon be coming to an end, but that does not mean fans should expect new episodes just yet.
“Everyone is saying like ‘please drop the last nine episodes’ [because] you know it’s like the farewell season...I don’t think that they actually have everything ready to be able to let those episodes go right now,” Bure explained to Sheryl Underwood during her live stream appearance on “The Talk Chat Room.” “I know the fans want them while we’re all sitting home, but I think they’ll be ready in the summertime.”
All four and a half seasons of "Fuller House" are currently available to stream on Netflix.
