Full Oscar Nomination list for 2009
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk, The Reader, and Golden Globe winning best picture Slumdog Millionaire, were all nominated for an Academy Award as best picture on Thursday.
Period love story Benjamin Button led the pack with 13 nominations overall.
Rags-to-riches Indian love story Slumdog Millionaire was second with 10 nominations while the The Dark Knight scored eight.
Forest Whitaker and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis announced the nominations for the 81st Annual Academy Awards held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
