'Fuller House' Spoilers: Will Lori Loughlin Appear In Final Episodes Of Netflix Series?
On June 2, the final episodes of "Fuller House" will premiere on Netflix. The new Season 5 shows will mark the end of the series, which began in 2016. Ahead of the new installments, which follow the stories of DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), some fans may be wondering whether or not Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) will also make a final appearance amid the college admissions scandal.
According to Deseret News, the Hallmark star will not return for the last episodes of the spin-off. As stated by the publication, Loughlin was fired after news of the Rick Singer-led college admissions scam broke.
Additionally, it has been said that her name will not even be mentioned on the Netflix sitcom, though some felt there was an Easter Egg about her. Prior to the first half of Season 5 episodes dropping, it was believed she may be referenced to in Season 5, Episode 9, during a scene that featured a flash mob. As stated by Us Weekly, Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) are featured in the specific episode.
"You can’t have a flash mob without inviting us," Jesse says in the scene when asked what they’re doing there. Joey then adds, "And he can’t tango without his dance partner," which some took as a potential reference to Becky.
Prior to Season 5's finale, Coulier talked about the void that the Netflix cast felt due to Loughlin's absence. "I can’t comment on it, but we love her dearly," he stated, later adding that the final season was "sad" and "didn't feel right" without her on set.
