‘Grandfathered’
Josh Peck and John Stamos have developed a close relationship ever since they starred in “Grandfathered.” FOX

“Fuller House” star John Stamos recently proved how close he really is to his “Grandfathered” co-star Josh Peck.

On his Instagram account, the TV dad posted a photo of himself at the beach with Peck’s drone behind him. In his caption, Stamos joked about wanting to enjoy paradise, but not being able to because of Peck. He also used the hashtag “Grow up Josh” in his post.

Last month, Stamos attended Peck’s wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Paige O’Brien, in Malibu. At the time, Peck and O’Brien’s wedding made headlines not only because of their beautiful vows, but also because Peck did not invite “Drake & Josh” co-star Drake Bell to his special day. Immediately after the ceremony wrapped up, Bell took his thoughts to Twitter and insinuated that his friendship with Peck is over. He deleted the said tweets later on.

While speaking with People on Saturday, Bell finally opened up about the massive shade he threw at Peck last month. “He was my best friend for 18 years. In all honesty, we talk all the time, we’ve been talking. I was just expecting…” he said.

When asked if he would still be open for a “Drake & Josh” reunion in the future, Bell said “yes.” “I would love to do a reunion. If it’s done in the right way. I don’t know if a reunion of us doing same characters as in Drake and Josh or different ones like in ‘Pineapple Express.’ But it would definitely be fun,” he said.

Meanwhile, Stamos also came to Peck’s defense last month after Bell posted the cryptic tweet on his social media account. The actor posted a snap of himself carrying Peck on his Instagram and wrote that he got invited to the latter’s wedding even if he didn’t want to go.

“Drake & Josh” followed the lives of Drake and Josh, who were stepbrothers that shared a room and got into all kinds of trouble week after week. The two young boys also struggled with dealing with their younger sister, Megan (Miranda Cosgrove). “Drake & Josh” aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007, according to Entertainment Weekly.
