Future Queen Kate Middleton Exudes Greek Goddess Vibes In Stunning White Gown [PHOTOS]
Kate Middleton's dress for BAFTAs 2019 was something many had been looking forward to, and the Duchess of Cambridge certainly didn't disappoint.
On Sunday, the future queen looked absolutely radiant at the 72nd annual EE British Academy Film Awards at London's Royal Albert Hall in a white, one-shouldered gown from Alexander McQueen, the fashion house who also designed her iconic 2011 royal wedding dress. The gorgeous chiffon dress featured a cinched-waist and floral embellishments on her left shoulder.
Middleton accessorized her stunning BAFTAs 2019 gown with a white clutch, a pair of sparkly £525 ($675) Jimmy Choo glitter heels and Queen Elizabeth II's Quatrefoil bracelet, which once belonged to the monarch's mother, according to Daily Mail.
The Duchess of Cambridge also honored husband Prince William's mother, Princess Diana, by wearing the late royal's pearl and silver earrings, People reported. Princess Diana previously wore the earrings in 1995 when she was given the Humanitarian of the Year Award by the United Celebral Palsy Foundation.
Middleton also sported glamorous makeup, with a dark smokey eye and pink lipstick as she smiled for the cameras during her third appearance at the BAFTAs.
Prince William, who is the president of BAFTA, looked dapper next to his wife in a simple black tuxedo with a white pocket square. See photos of Middleton's and Prince William's looks at the 2019 BAFTAs below!
Unlike this year, Middleton's dress for the 2018 BAFTAs received criticism as the duchess wore a dark green gown instead of black like most other celebrity attendees. At the time, everyone had been encouraged to wear black to show support for the Time's Up movement.
However, it has been said that Middleton may have chosen not to conform with the unofficial dress code as the British royal family stays away from anything political.
Meanwhile, Prince William presented the Fellowship Award to film editor Thelma Schoonmaker during this year's ceremony. This recognition is the highest accolade bestowed by the Academy to an individual in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, games or television.
During the awards ceremony, Middleton also met Olivia Colman, who took home the best actress award for her role as Queen Anne in "The Favourite," and the latter's co-star Rachel Weisz, who won best supporting actress, Daily Mail reported.
