  • Gal Gadot teased a major big-screen project that she’s preparing for
  • The actress shared a snap of herself in a black swimsuit on Instagram
  • Her growing baby bump caught the attention of her fans on the platform

Gal Gadot is pregnant with her third child so she is spending some time away from the spotlight. However, the actress is not letting her pregnancy slow her down when it comes to her preparations for her upcoming projects.

On Sunday, the 35-year-old Hollywood star took to Instagram to share a snap of herself reading the script for her next movie in the backyard of her Los Angeles home. In the photo, Gadot is wearing a black one-piece swimsuit, a pair of sunglasses and a black and red Apple Watch.

The “Wonder Woman 1984” star looked gorgeous as she styled her hair in her typical loose ponytail. But what caught the attention of most of her fans was her growing baby bump, which she gently cradled in the image. Many of them left comments mentioning her growing belly.

“Working… on two major projects,” Gadot wittily captioned her post, referring to both her pregnancy and a potential big film project.

However, she didn’t reveal which movie she was reading the script for. But it wouldn’t be a surprise if she’s referring to the third “Wonder Woman” movie considering the success of the first two films.

The second installment in the franchise, “Wonder Woman 1984,” managed to rake in big numbers even though it opened amid the global pandemic. As per Vulture, the film lassoed the biggest post-pandemic opening with an estimated $16.7 million in North America during its debut weekend.

The film eventually made a good impression when it grossed almost $150 million at the global box office a month after its release despite the public health crisis and a large number of theaters remaining closed. Screen Rant said the film did succeed at the box office considering all the restrictions, and it also helped HBO Max secure more subscribers as it was released on the streaming platform as well.

Given the incredible performance of “WW84” and the original “Wonder Woman,” which grossed $822.3 million worldwide in 2017, it seemed inevitable for Warner Bros. to fast-track the development of the third installment in the franchise. Gadot and director Patty Jenkins are still teaming up for the final entry in the trilogy.

“As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ we are excited to be able to continue her story with our real life Wonder Women — Gal and Patty — who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy,” Warner Bros. chief Toby Emmerich was quoted as saying by Variety late last year.

Gadot announced that she was expecting her third child with husband Yaron Varsano in early March. The couple, who already shares two daughters 9-year-old Alma and 3-year-old Maya, has not disclosed the actress’ due date. However, she is expected to get really busy after she gives birth to her third child since she has so many projects in the pipeline.

Apart from “Wonder Woman 3,” the Israel beauty has several big projects in the works including “Irena Sendler,” “Hedy Lamarr,” “Cleopatra” and “Heart of Stone.” She’s already done filming for “Death On The Nile,” but the film’s release date was pushed back to February 2022 due to the pandemic.

Gadot's other movie, “Red Notice,” is landing on Netflix later this year, CinemaBlend has learned.
