‘Game Of Thrones’ Cast Photos Have Fans Questioning Character's Death
Did actor Isaac H. Wright just spoil the fate of a “Game of Thrones” character? Shield your eyes from his Twitter account!
[WARNING: “Game of Thrones” Season 5 finale spoilers ahead!]
“Game of Thrones” fans are abuzz after Isaac H. Wright, aka Bran Stark, took to Twitter to post a photo with a couple of his co-stars – Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen Baratheon) and Nell Tiger Free (Myrcella Baratheon). While the picture is just of the three friends enjoying some refreshments outside, many are speculating that Wright is hinting at the return of Myrcella.
It’s clear that the “Game of Thrones” stars are not on the Season 6 set of the hit HBO series, but their exact location is unknown. However, speculation about Myrcella’s fate heightened a couple days later when Wright shared that he was “back” in Belfast, Ireland for filming.
For those unfamiliar with the filming locations of the show, the fictional Winterfell is actually shot in Belfast. That means that Bran is potentially heading back to his home after training with the three-eyed raven. If that’s true, then the character, who was missing in Season 5, could meet back up with his sister, Sansa (Sophie Turner), who just made a desperate attempt to run away from her new husband, Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon).
It’s unknown if Wright was in Belfast when he shared the picture with Chapman and Free, however based on filming it doesn’t seem likely that the two actors would be in Ireland. In Season 5, Myrcella was last spotted on a ship outside of Dorne, where she had been poisoned by Ellaria (Indira Varma). Dorne is filmed in Spain. Tommen, on the other hand, was moping around King’s Landing after his mother and wife were locked up. Kings Landing is filmed in Croatia.
To further squash the rumors, Free shared another photo with her cast mates – this time revealing their location in the caption: Brighton, England.
Looks like “Game of Thrones” fans will have to keep their eyes out for more clues about Myrcella’s fate.
