Tough guy Sean Bean got himself in a really tough situation.

This past weekend Bean brought his on-screen fighting skills to London where he got stabbed in the arm after he was defending his date from hecklers at a London pub.

The 52 year old star of HBO's hit series Game of Thrones and former Lord of the Rings star came to the side of April Summers, a 22 year old Playboy model, after a passerby made an inappropriate comment at her while they were outside of Camden's Hill Bar and Brasserie in London.

According to reports, Bean chased the heckler but he later returned and attacked Bean. He punched Bean in the face and stabbed him with a broken glass in the arm.

According to reports, the actor refused medical attention and did not go to the hospital. He took care of the injury on his own with a first-aid kid from the bar.
