'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Production Update: Photos Of Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey With Her Children
Emilia Clarke shared a picture of her wearing a wig for “Game of Thrones” Season 6, while leaked pictures from Girona shows the production crew building a new set.
Clarke shared a picture of her wearing a wig to prepare to play Daenerys Targaryen in the popular fantasy television series. The picture was posted on her Instagram page and already has over 180 thousand likes by her fans. Some of the fans commented on how realistic the wig looks and expressed their excitement about seeing her reprising her role.
Fellow cast member Lena Headey has still not travelled to any of the filming locations of the show and pictures posted on BelfastLive show the actress at the LAX airport with her children. Many of the other cast members have been spotted in Belfast recently, where filming for the next season will take place.
Pictures posted on DiarideGirona show the crew members busy preparing the set to begin filming “Game of Thrones” Season 6 soon. The report also stated that a new casting call has been announced for extras in Girona for scenes that will be filmed between Sept. 9 and Sept. 11.
The report confirms that the Baths at King Ferdinand Street will be featured on the show, and the crew is said to be working at this location to make it suitable for filming. It is still unclear for which part of the fantasy world of the show the locations in Girona are being used. The report speculated that it could be Bravoos or King’s Landing.
A report by WatchersOnTheWall confirmed that the cast and crew will be returning to Shane’s Castle in Northern Ireland to film the scenes for the next season. Some of the scenes in King’s Landing were filmed at this location previously, including a few big scenes, involving the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) in the previous season.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is slated to air sometime in April 2016.
