The cast and crew of “Game of Thrones” are heading to the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland, where production of the HBO series’ Season 6 is expected to soon start. Some fans reportedly spotted actor Kit Harington in the city, and they see this as confirmation that his character Jon Snow will be back next year.

[Spoiler alert.] In the Season 5 finale, Jon Snow was stabbed multiple times and last seen lying in a pool of blood. The character was believed to have died in the scene, but fans have continued to speculate he may return in some form.

An Express report noted fans had spotted Harington in Belfast. Katy Belle posted about it on Twitter Thursday:

Twitter user Josh Gembalczyk also pointed out the actor was back in the city:

However, the Express report indicated that this is not the first time Harington has been seen in Belfast recently. The actor was apparently in the city last month to film some scenes, although it is unclear they were for “Game of Thrones” Season 6. One popular fan theory about Jon Snow coming back next year centers on his possible resurrection by Melisandre (Carice van Houten), while another focuses on his possible warging into his direwolf.

According to Watchers on the Wall, Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen Baratheon), Nell Tiger Free (Myrcella Baratheon), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) are already in Belfast. The site speculated Eugene Simon (Lancel Lannister) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) also may be in the city, based on their posts on social media.

The site suggested the appearance of Free as Myrcella Baratheon in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 may be similar to the cameo made by Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister in the funeral scene in the show’s Season 5.

Meanwhile, there has been no official confirmation Jon Snow will be back next season, which is expected to premiere in April 2016.
