Carly thought she was one step closer to testing Nina and Willow’s DNA, but on the Thursday, May 12 episode of “General Hospital,” she will have to figure out how to hide the truth after getting caught off guard.

In the ABC promo video, Drew (Cameron Mathison) places all of the blame on Carly (Laura Wright). “GH” spoilers reveal Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) are surprised by what they find in their home.

In the previous episode, Drew caught Carly stealing Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) wine glass. Carly eventually confessed that Willow could be Nina’s daughter, and she came up with the idea to test their DNA.

Drew didn’t support Carly’s decision not to tell Willow about Nina, but Carly said she didn’t want to add to Willow’s grief unless she was sure.

Drew and Carly then made their way to the gatehouse, where Carly snuck upstairs to grab Willow’s toothbrush. As she was sliding the item into her purse, Willow and Michael walked in.

It appears Drew will put Carly in the hot seat after they are caught in the couple’s home, which will leave her fumbling over her words to explain the intrusion.

Will Carly get away with stealing Nina and Willow’s DNA, or will she share the real reason why she is at the couple’s home?

Elsewhere in the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) asks how badly Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) screwed things up. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Esme gives Ryan a status update, and he doesn’t like what he hears.

In the previous episode, Esme caught Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) going through her belongings. Although the two appeared to be on good terms after arguing, it appears Esme will update her father on the situation.

Ryan is eager to have Esme ruin Ava’s (Maura West) marriage due to his obsession with the gallery owner. However, he won’t be happy with what Esme has to say. Will Ryan threaten Esme for failing to make progress with their plan?

Other “GH” spoilers tease Spencer seeks Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) help, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) gets an unexpected visitor while babysitting, and Finn (Michael Easton) brings his concern about Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to Laura (Genie Francis).

“General Hospital” airs on weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
