It will be a day of plotting as the residents of Port Charles go to extreme lengths to gain control of their lives. On the Monday, Oct. 22 episode of “General Hospital,” Carly will consider taking on a new responsibility as Josslyn tries to get Oscar’s attention.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Carly (Laura Wright) tells Stella (Vernee Watson) she is the best person to step up. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Carly opens up to Stella.

Carly has been doing her best to help Sonny (Maurice Benard) accept the fact that his father will eventually have to move out of their home and live in a special facility for Alzheimer’s patients.

Although Carly helped Mike (Max Gail) find a daycare, she feels like there is still more to do, but will stepping up mean going against Sonny’s wishes?

Carly has been eager to put her family back together again, but Mike and Sonny aren’t her only issues. Aside from Mike’s deteriorating condition and Sonny’s denial, Michael (Chad Duell) is still grieving the loss of his baby boy.

While Michael has allowed Stella to help him mourn the loss of his and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) son, he hasn’t reached out to Carly to assist him in the matter. Carly has continuously told Michael to lean on his family but the young father has been grieving in his own way. Will Carly’s meddling push Michael too far?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tells Cameron (William Lipton) she believes that when someone really wants something, they should fight for it. “GH” spoilers reveal Josslyn puts her plan in motion.

Josslyn has been trying to win back Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) heart and believes making him jealous is the best solution. The teen previously recruited Cameron to pose as her new boyfriend and help her carry out her scheme, but will she actually get Oscar’s attention?

Oscar has been pretty busy trying to convince Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to help him fight for the right to make his own decisions to notice Josslyn’s games. After learning Kim (Tamara Braun) didn’t tell him about his terminal cancer, he decided he didn’t want to undergo any treatments.

However, he is a minor, which means his parents can force him to go through with the drug trials. Alexis told Oscar she would think about taking on his case but will she finally give him the answer he has been hoping for?
