It will be a day of questioning and persuasion for the residents of Port Charles as they try to uncover the buried secrets of others. On the Friday, Oct. 26 episode of “General Hospital,” Carly will return to Ferncliff while Sam and Spinelli attempt to take Margaux down.

In the promo for the ABC Soap opera, Laura (Genie Francis) tells Carly (Laura Wright) if she wants to back out, no one would blame her. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Carly is surprised.

Carly previously told Laura she had her reservations about returning to Ferncliff but would do so if it meant helping the mentally ill. It appears the women manage to make their way to the institution for the criminally insane, but Carly will begin to feel uneasy.

When she was sentenced to Ferncliff after Nelle (Chloe Lanier) accused her of murder, her neighbor in the other room used morse code to send her an SOS. However, she was warned not to communicate because the patient was dangerous.

Carly was unaware her neighbor was actually Ryan (Jon Lindstrom), who is now posing as his twin, Kevin. Although Ryan was presumed dead, Kevin had him committed to Ferncliff where he was treating his evil counterpart, until Ryan managed to switch places with him and locked his brother away in his place. Will Carly learn something new about her old neighbor at Ferncliff?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) tells Sam (Kelly Monaco) the first move is all on her. “GH” spoilers reveal Sam heads out of town.

In the previous episode, Spinelli informed Sam and Jason (Steve Burton) that Margaux’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) father, Vincent, had a large life insurance policy that hadn’t been claimed even though he has been dead for years. They also discovered he was only recently declared dead.

Sam suggested Margaux’s mother, Jeanette, may have been holding out hope that her husband was still alive, but Spinelli thought Sam was projecting her feelings about Jason on to the case. Although Jason was initially confused, Sam explained that a few years after he died she was pressured into declaring him dead.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) interrupted the conversation and told the group he found Margaux talking to Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). He stated Margaux went too far by trying to use his family against him and revealed she needed to be stopped.

Spinelli revealed Jeanette filed the insurance claim after Vincent’s remains were found but because his death was considered murder, and since it had been years since payments had been made on the policy, the insurance company was holding the money.

Sam figured the insurance company opened their own investigation and Margaux’s mother would probably have the answers they were looking for. Will Sam use her past with Jason to trick Margaux’s mother into sharing dirt on Vincent’s dark past?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
