It will be a day of nostalgia and chaos for the residents of Port Charles as they allow their pasts to influence their decisions in the present. On the Tuesday, Sept. 11 episode of “General Hospital,” Sam and Drew will reunite, as Mike fails to impress Sonny.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warns Sam (Kelly Monaco) that if she accepts a certain invitation she is going to regret it. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Drew (Billy Miller) and Sam spend time together.

Although Sam and Drew are divorced, it doesn’t mean she no longer cares about him. He is the father of one of her children and he recently learned his son, Oscar (Garren Stitt), is dying.

Last time Drew and Sam were together, she encouraged him to remain hopeful that a miracle could happen. She also told him to enjoy the time he has left with his son. Even though Drew manages to spare some time for his ex-wife, it may result in him turning down an offer from Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

In the ABC promo video, Margaux asks Drew to join her, but he appears hesitant to take her up on her invite. Although Margaux has made it clear that she is interested in exploring a romance with Drew, it seems his feelings for Sam haven’t completely gone away.

His ex-wife has slowly become his support system as he deals with his son’s illness, but could this change Sam and Drew’s relationship? Sam ended her marriage with him because she realized she never stopped loving Jason (Steve Burton), but will Drew’s current state of grief make her reconsider her future?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Jason warns someone not say a word, Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) is seen holding Mike (Max Gail) as the old man questions what he has done. “GH” spoilers reveal Sonny seeks answers.

In the previous episode, Mike took a trip to Charlie’s Pub believing he could solve Sonny’s problems by blowing up the bar. Worried someone would find the body Sonny buried under the business, Mike used a wrench to start a gas leak. The elder’s sense of victory quickly turned into panic when he ran into Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and realized he put his granddaughter in danger.

After heading to the basement, Julian (William deVry) discovered the leak and rushed to get everyone outside. However, once Kristina got Mike across the street, she ran back into Charlie’s Pub to grab the wrench that could tie her grandfather to the crime.

When Sonny and Jason arrived, Mike explained that he needed to go back inside to get Kristina, but Jason ran into the bar to find her. As Mike began to become agitated about his plan going south, the bar exploded.

Considering Jason makes an appearance in the promo, it appears that he and Kristina made it out of Charlie’s Pub alive. Once the flames die down, will Mike’s twisted good deed put Sonny’s freedom in jeopardy, or did the old man actually manage to fix his son’s problem?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
