General Hospital
Michael (Chad Duell) doesn’t fully understand why he feels a deep connection to Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) baby on “General Hospital.” ABC

It’s been one year since Nelle told Michael their baby died after birth, but on the Monday, July 29 episode of “General Hospital,” she will give Michael a few clues about what happened to their son.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) tells Michael (Chad Duell) she knows something about what happened to their son that he doesn’t. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Nelle makes a veiled statement.

Viewers are aware that Nelle and Brad (Parry Shen) swapped babies shortly after she gave birth. Nelle took Brad’s adopted son, Wiley, who died in his sleep, and gave him her healthy baby boy, Jonah.

Nelle told Michael their baby died, and Brad passed Jonah off as Wiley. However, after having a chat with Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mother, Harmony (Inga Cadranel), Nelle realized her son could end up being raised by a cult leader.

Although Nelle initially reached out to Michael to taunt him about the son he believes is dead, she may experience a change of heart after hearing Harmony’s story about Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).

Nelle wants her son to have a happy life, but she won’t tell Michael the truth about Jonah. Instead, she’ll drop a few hints about the little boy, but will Michael realize she is talking about Willow’s son Wiley?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Shiloh is told to take a plea bargain, or he’ll spend the rest of his life behind bars. It appears a deal is on the table for Shiloh to avoid serious jail time for his crimes, but having a criminal record could ruin his chances of getting his hands on Wiley.

Will Shiloh accept the offer or will he figure out another way to avoid conviction and gain custody of Wiley?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
