‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Nathan And Lulu’s Faison Obsession Hurt Maxie’s Baby?

Faison is back in Port Charles, and Nathan has no plans on letting his father wreak havoc once again. However, on the Tuesday, Jan. 23 episode of “General Hospital,” Nathan and Lulu’s tactics to bring Faison down may ultimately hurt Maxie.

After experiencing a frightening moment in her pregnancy, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has been given orders to avoid stress, but that may prove to be a difficult task if she finds out what Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) are up to.

In the promo for an upcoming episode of the ABC soap opera, Nathan seems more determined than ever to take Faison (Anders Hove) down. In the video, he tells Anna (Finola Hughes) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) he won’t allow Faison to make the first move, which means the trio may come up with a plan.

Spoilers reveal Anna will head to PCPD after receiving a concerning text from Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). While there, she voices her suspicions about Faison to Nathan and Dante, and the trio creates a diversion. However, there is no telling whether this diversion will be successful or go horribly wrong.

Elsewhere, Lulu is growing frustrated after having her Faison story ideas constantly shut down and decides to take her issues to the top dog, Peter (Wes Ramsey).

In the preview, Lulu is seen in Peter’s office telling him she is going to make her pitch directly to him rather than asking for her editor’s permission. While this may stir up some trouble with her colleagues, Lulu could be gearing up to hurt her best friend again. When Lulu released her first article about Faison, which confirmed Nathan was his son, Maxie was furious.

After failing to get the story pulled from the Crimson, Maxie berated Lulu and began to feel sharp stomach pains. Maxie later found out the baby was fine and would remain in good health as long as she didn’t stress.

However, if she were to find out her best friend and husband are closing in on the one man whose name has the power to put her baby in danger, Maxie may have a breakdown and once again put her pregnancy at risk.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
