Although Sam killed Shiloh to protect Jason, she received an invite to the Dawn of Day leader’s memorial. On the Thursday, Jan. 2 episode of “General Hospital,” Jason will want answers about Sam’s mysterious invitation.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Sam (Kelly Monaco) has a conversation with Jason (Steve Burton) and suggests that someone needs to stay dead and buried. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Jason is baffled.

In the previous episode, Jason learned that Sam and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) were invited to Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) memorial.

However, since Willow tried to take down Shiloh, and Sam killed him, Jason was suspicious about the mysterious invite. Jason believed the invite was sent by someone trying to avenge the cult leader’s death.

It appears Sam and Jason will try to come up with answers about why Sam was invited to the memorial, and who could have sent the invitation. It appears Sam has a theory about who could be behind the invite, but will she be correct?

Although the promo video doesn’t show Sam and Jason’s entire conversation, she suggests that someone needs everyone to think they are dead. Will Sam suspect that Shiloh is still alive?

Elsewhere in the promo video, Carly (Laura Wright) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that Nikolas Casssadine (Marcus Coloma) is alive and well. “GH” spoilers reveal Carly is insistent.

Sonny knows that Carly has been keeping a secret from him and even had one of his henchmen follow her to get answers. It appears Carly will finally come clean about the secret she has been hiding for Jax (Ingo Rademacher), but will Sonny use the truth to get rid of his enemy?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
