Spencer has been a disappointment to many people around Port Charles, but on the Thursday, Dec. 22, episode of "General Hospital," he will try to make things up to Trina.

In the ABC promo video, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) tells Trina (Tabyana Ali) if the police won't take action, then he will. "GH" spoilers reveal Trina and Spencer put their heads together.

In the previous episode, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) advised Spencer to go after what makes him happy, and he immediately went to pay Trina a visit.

Trina has been having a difficult holiday after Rory (Michael Blake Kruse) was murdered by the hook killer.

It appears Spencer will check in on Trina and promise her that he will step up and find the hook killer since the police have yet to track down the murderer.

However, Trina will want to help Spencer move the investigation forward. Are Spencer and Trina the key to finding the hook killer?

Elsewhere in the promo video for the ABC soap opera, a mysterious figure is seen walking on the side of the road. "General Hospital" spoilers say Dex (Evan Hofer) comes to Josslyn's (Eden McCoy) aid.

In the previous episode, the driver behind Josslyn began to beep their horn seconds before she was blinded by oncoming lights. Josslyn quickly slammed on the brakes, and her car began to swerve.

It appears Josslyn will crash her car and require some assistance. While it's unclear whether she will have significant injuries, Dex will come to her rescue. Will Josslyn's accident push her closer to Dex?

Other "GH" spoilers tease Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) taunts Nikolas (Marcus Coloma), Carly (Laura Wright) and Ava (Maura West) find common ground, and Chase (Josh Swickard) levels with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton).

"General Hospital" airs on weekdays at 3 p.m. on ABC.
