‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Spencer Trick Esme Into Confessing To Framing Trina?
Spencer believes he can save Trina from going down for a crime she didn’t commit, but on the Monday, July 18 episode of “General Hospital,” he will have to trick Esme into confessing.
In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander) tells Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) that he has the proof she needs if she wants it. “GH” spoilers reveal Spencer enacts his plan to help Trina (Tabyana Ali) as her family and friends gather to support her at trial.
In the previous episode, Esme told Spencer that Ava (Maura West) offered her money to confess to framing Trina. Instead of acting upset, Spencer suggested that Ava didn’t know what Esme wanted to make her confess, but he did.
Spencer revealed he knows Esme wants to know who her real mother is, and it appears he will offer her a DNA test that will reveal the truth.
However, viewers are aware Spencer plans to use a fake DNA test to trick Esme into confessing to framing Trina for leaking Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Cameron’s (William Lipton) sex tape.
Will Esme believe Spencer found her birth mother and confess, or will she realize he is setting her up?
Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Sonny (Maurice Benard) says he’s done talking and is ready to take action. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Sonny admits he got into it with Nina (Cynthia Watros) about Carly (Laura Wright).
It appears Sonny will hit the gym with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and tell him about his intense conversation with Nina.
Viewers are aware that Sonny was shocked to learn Nina brought Carly’s share of the Metro Court and assumed she had ulterior motives. However, after their conversation, Sonny realized Nina was trying to give Carly a peace offering after ruining her family. It appears Sonny will be ready to take action but is he referring to the gym or a specific person?
Other “GH” spoilers reveal Brando (Johnny Wactor) is unable to relax away his worry about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), and Nina has an unanticipated encounter at the cemetery.
“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
