Christmas may be the most wonderful time of the year but for Michael, it’s a struggle as he continues to mourn the loss of his and Nelle’s baby boy. On the Friday, Dec. 21 episode of “General Hospital” Willow may bring him one step closer to the truth.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Michael (Chad Duell) tells Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) let’s do it. “General Hospital” spoilers suggest Michael will solve the hospital’s Santa problem and Willow will be by his side as he helps out.

Michael and Willow have continued to grow close since meeting in their bereavement support group. While Michael is mourning the loss of the son he shared with Nelle (Chloe Lanier), Willow is mourning the death of her own baby.

Much isn’t known about Willow’s baby but she is believed to be the mother of the real Wiley, who died in his sleep after being adopted by Brad (Parry Shen). However, Brad kept this secret to himself and swapped babies with Nelle shortly after she gave birth on the side of the road.

Nelle told Michael their baby died and presented him with the real Wiley, while Brad went on to raise Michael’s real son, Jonah. Willow hasn’t shared much about her real baby but after she spends time with Michael on Christmas, she may open up to him a little more.

However, their special moment may be interrupted. “GH” spoilers reveal Chase (Josh Swickard) can’t stop thinking about Willow. The officer is smitten with the new woman in his life, but will his crush ruin Michael’s chances of learning the truth about Nelle and Brad’s baby swap?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
