Genius Hack Alert: Chef Shows How To Make Fresh Apple Juice Without Using Blender
Apple is undoubtedly one of the most beneficial fruits out there. While some prefer munching on whole apples, there are those who like to grab a glass of freshly made juice instead.
Unlike eating a whole apple that entails almost no effort, however, preparing some apple juice requires running the fruit in a blender. But, did you know that there is a hack that allows apples to be juiced without using any electronic device? It can be done with the amazing trick shared by celebrity chef and content creator Eitan Bernath on Instagram.
The personality, who has the username @eitan on the platform, posted about the hack a few months ago with the caption, "The EASIEST Juice Hack I've Ever. Tried." Unsurprisingly, it became an instant hit among his followers.
The video shows Bernath explaining how one can extract fresh juice from apples after freezing them.
To demonstrate the trick, Bernath pops two apples in a freezer, where he leaves them overnight. This turns them fruits really hard and chilly.
Afterward, Bernath defrosts the fruits for a couple of hours and places them in a clean bowl. At this point, the apples are really soft, which means they are ready for the next step: juicing.
As seen in the clip, which has so far garnered more than 27,000 likes, the juice easily comes out of the apples as Bernath presses them using only his bare hands. He also uses a strainer to get rid of the pulp, therefore making it ideal for drinking.
Apples offer quite a number of health benefits, according to Healthline. Apart from containing a lot of vitamins and nutrients, apples have also been linked to a lower risk of diabetes and better heart and bone health. The fruit may also promote good gut bacteria and contain substances that can help prevent cancer.
