Billie Eilish may be young at just 17 years of age, but she's definitely not naive. The "Ocean Eyes" singer recently opened up about her strategic, and often very meme-able, fashion choices and made one thing clear: She doesn't care if you judge her music but her body is off limits.

Eilish got real about her style during an interview with Vogue Australia. The singer-songwriter, who will grace the cover of the magazine's July issue, described her outfit at the time, (baggy white pants that she admits make her look "like an elephant" and an oversized tie-dyed top), before explaining, "What I like about just dressing like I'm 800 sizes bigger than I am is it kind of gives nobody the opportunity to judge what your body looks like."

"I don't want to give anyone the excuse of judging and it's not like everyone is going to judge you but they all do in their head, like even if you're not even trying to," she continued. "Anything you look at, you judge. That's just how we all work, that's how human beings work."

Diving deeper into the reasoning behind her fashion choices, the young millionaire revealed that she's similar to the world's richest female musician, Rihanna, who previously admitted to using fashion as a defense mechanism.

"It's always been that way for me," Eilish said. The songstress added that baggy clothing has been her "security blanket" and that fashion, in general, has provided a "way of expression without having to use words."

"...Fashion is its own language and I use mine all day every day my whole life, always have," she said.
