The recently rolled out update 1.3 of "Genshin Impact" introduces a lot of activities, one of which is the Xiao's story quest. During the Glimmers of the Vigilant quest, players of the game are tasked with obtaining a special book called Yakshas The Guardian Adepti. For players having a hard time locating the book, this guide might come in handy.

The task of finding the special book, called Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti, starts when players visit the Wanwen Bookhouse in Liyue Harbor. The book is located near Jifang in the Wanwen Bookhouse, and players just need to go to the left area of Jifang's desk. Players will find a small alcove with several shelves and a woman in a brown dress browsing.

They will find a table with an open book on it -- The Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti. After finding the book, players need to key in the input that pops up onscreen to interact with it and complete the quest step. This triggers a cutscene that features a short animation about yakshas in the world's history.

When the cutscene surfaces, the new quest starts and players will be sent to Wanshu Inn. At the inn, they need to speak with the Starsnatcher. This will trigger a conversation and a little combat, but it is an easy one. Players will only need a brief time to finish it.

Doing all of those means completing the Glimmers of the Vigilant Yaksha quest in "Genshin Impact." This rewards players with 450 Adventure EXP, four Hero Wits, seven Mystic Enhancement Ores and 31, 125 Mora. Moreover, completing this challenge unlocks a new quest called The Purging of Evil.

The quest tasks players to utilize Elemental Sight to find the hilichurls with an evil aura. The Purging of Evil is the third of the four quests in the Butterfly's Dream act of the Xiao Story Quest. Xiao is the featured character in the banner event of "Genshin Impact" version 1.3.

"Genshin Impact" is available on PC, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android devices. The game is apparently in development for Nintendo Switch and PS5.
