The latest patch for “Genshin Impact” added some of the game’s most anticipated characters as well as some new areas to explore.

With the arrival of the Raiden Shogun on the featured limited-time character banner, “Genshin Impact” players will want to get their hands on the new Amakumo Fruit, which will serve as the Shogun’s main ascension materials. Players will need over 100 of this new fruit to get the Shogun up to Level 90.

Unfortunately, the Amakumo Fruits won’t simply appear all over Inazuma. Players will have to explore one of the new islands before they can acquire these materials. They will also have to complete a world quest before they can get the rest of the Shogun’s ascension materials.

Amakumo Fruit Locations

The Amakumo Fruits can only be found on Seirai Island. There are plenty of fruit spawn points littered across the shores of Seirai, but players will be able to find a large concentration of fruits on the central island: Amakumo Peak. Fruits can be found conveniently around the inner rim of the central island’s crater, and more can be seen all over the island’s outer half.

MiHoYo’s official interactive map now shows the locations of all Amakumo Fruits in Seirai island.

Players can simply head over to the new island to grab Amakumo Fruits, but taking and completing the Seirai Stormchasers quest is highly recommended. The quest will not only guide players to teleporters, Electroculi and other points of interest, but it will also unlock the Thunder Manifestation boss that drops one of the other ascension materials for the Raiden Shogun: Storm Beads.

Raiden Shogun Ascension Materials

Players who are lucky enough to pull the Raiden Shogun will want to finish the Seirai Stormchasers quest as soon as possible. Storm Beads can only be acquired from the Thunder Manifestation boss and Amakumo Fruits only spawn on Amakumo Peak on Seirai Island.

The Shogun’s other ascension materials are Vajrada Amethysts and Handguards, both of which are also present on Seirai Island.
