'Genshin Impact' Hack: How To Move Faster Around The Map
KEY POINTS
- “Genshin Impact” is a new ARPG title from MiHoYo
- It features an expansive map that players need to spend hundreds of in-game meters to explore
- There is a new “Genshin Impact” trick that could help players move faster than others
Fans of the new ARPG title “Genshin Impact” discovered an alternative method to fast-traveling, which would allow them to explore the expansive map without having to burn through hundreds of in-game meters discovering a new location, called Bunny Hopping.
Reddit user Vic378 recently shared on the “Genshin Impact” subreddit a clever way to travel in the game, which he claims is faster than the running movement option. This movement is called Bunny Hop or Bunny Hopping, which could be performed by characters who have a quick jump. This trick allows players to travel significantly faster than sprinting.
To execute a bunny hop in “Genshin Impact,” a player needs to attempt to begin running. As the initial running momentum starts to build, the player must start jumping. “Genshin Impact” players need to continue hopping toward their destination.
It is worth mentioning that this “Genshin Impact” trick is only applicable to characters with fast jumping animations. For instance, some players discovered that Mona’s dash is faster than any speed-enhancing skills, so they rather utilize her skill than use the bunny hop trick. Other players report that Diluc’s jump is too slow, suggesting that the bunny hop trick does not apply to the character.

Other “Genshin Impact” players claim that Qiqi, Venti and Lisa looked whimsical as they skip along with the bunny hop trick. It is still best to experiment with the characters to see which ones would work best. A demonstration video courtesy of Reddit user Vic378 shows the bunny hop technique and the steps needed to master it.
This hack in “Genshin Impact” will not only shave off lots of play time while exploring the map but also very handy when the player wants to beat the game’s different timed treasure chest challenges.
“Genshin Impact” is currently available on PC, PS4, iOS and Android devices.
