"Genshin Impact" update 1.3 introduced Xiao and Keqing in the game, but many fans are excited about Hu Tao's arrival. With Zhongli's boss finally confirmed coming to the game, players who want to pull her should collect upgrade items crucial for her talent levels and ascensions.

Game developer miHoYo has not yet revealed the items needed for Hu Tao's talent and ascension. Interestingly, a Reddit user named DevilTakoyaki shared these items a couple of months ago as they were apparently uncovered through a data mining activity. However, the user cautioned fans that since those items were not yet official, details and other information surrounding them could still change.

Based on the photo shared by the data miner, "Genshin Impact" players need to collect Diligence talent book, three Crown of Insight, a Shard of a Foul Legacy and Nectar-themed items to upgrade Hu Tao's talents. To ascend Hu Tao and unlock her level caps, players need Agnidus Agate, Juvenile Jade, Silk Flowers and Nectar-themed items. There is a chance that things might change when she finally launches in the game, and many believe that instead of Juvenile Jade, players might need the Everflame Seeds.

How to Get Hu Tao's Ascension And Talent Items

To get all three Diligence talent books, players need to be at least on Adventure Rank 26 to access the mansion located at the Jueyun Karst in Liyue. It is also smart to visit the Mansion on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays so players could get nine Teaching books, 114 Philosophy books and 63 Guide books. For nectar-themed items, players must kill Whopperflowers first to get them.

To get the Agnidus Agate, players need to defeat the Pyro Regisvine or the Primo Geovishap or purchase the item at the souvenir shops in Liyue and Mondstadt. They could also get the Agnidus Agate from the Wolf of the North boss. For Silk Flowers, players can just purchase them from the citizens of Liyue, particularly from Ms. Bai from Qungce Village and Verr Goldet from the Wangshu Inn. Players could also harvest Silk Flowers from Yujing Terrace in Liyue Harbor.

The Crown of Insight can be acquired through in-game events like Unreconciled Stars and Chalk Prince and the Dragon. Players can also get the Crown of Insight by upgrading their Frostbearing Tree to level 11. When Hu Tao reaches talent level 6, players will need the Shard of Foul Legacy. To get this, they need to defeat Tartaglia in the Enter the Golden House Trounce Domain, which becomes available as soon as they complete Chapter 1 Act 3, which can only be challenged once a week.
