'Genshin Impact': Massive Leak Reveals Itto, Shinhe, Gorou And Yae Release Dates

Chinese gaming studio miHoYo has a habit of introducing new characters in "Genshin Impact" each time it releases a new update. Interestingly, a massive leak has recently surfaced online, revealing a list of new characters that are reportedly coming to the game as well as their supposed release dates.

The latest information about the upcoming "Genshin Impact" characters came from an industry insider who goes by the name Educational-Shine292. The insider, who accurately leaked Raiden's model in the past, shared the details on Reddit.

According to the insider, Shenhe and Itto are scheduled to arrive in the hit gacha game via Update 2.4. Moreover, they revealed Yae would be introduced via Update 2.5 while Yae would come through Update 2.2.

Another leak, this time coming from a tipster known as Ubatcha, surfaced online recently. This insider, who answered fans' inquiries about Gorou's release date on Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's Discord server, believes there is a high possibility the character would arrive in the game via Update 2.3.

For those who are not aware, Arataki Itto is believed to be a descendant of the Arataki of the Front Gate, a well-known martial artist in Inazuma. Itto has been mentioned by different characters and NPCs in the game and has his name written on multiple bulletin boards. He is known as the rival of Kojou Sara, who defeated him and robbed him of his Vision.

Meanwhile, Shenhe is one of the eight characters discovered through data mining activities last year. She is believed to be a five-star Cryo character wielding a Claymore.

Yae, on the other hand, is the owner of a publishing house and the chief priestess of the Grand Narukami Shrine. She is believed to be a five-star Electro character, but her weapon of choice remains unknown.

As for Gorou, he is a part of the Inazuman resistance against Baal Vision Hunt decree. He is rumored to be a Geo Vision and wields a bow.

"Genshin Impact" Update 2.2 is expected to launch on Oct. 12, while Update 2.3 is set to arrive on Nov. 23. Meanwhile, Updates 2.4 and 2.5 would roll out on Jan. 5 and Feb. 16 next year, respectively.
