'Genshin Impact' Players Could Score Free Primogems And More; Here's How
KEY POINTS
- A new banner is expected to arrive in "Genshin Impact"
- Pulling a character from the banner requires Primogems
- Players could use some of these free Primogems ahead of the upcoming Ganyu Banner
The gacha component of "Genshin Impact" makes it a little more tricky. No wonder, getting free Primogems to spend on character pulls is always a great thing for players. Here are this month's promo codes to help players score extra Primogems, Mora and other items to help them get new gears and more.
Working Genshin Impact Promo Codes For January 2021
Game developer miHoYo occasionally releases promo codes that players could use in the game. There are only a couple of codes at the moment, but miHoYo would definitely roll out more in the coming days. Players can use the code GSIMPTQ125 to get 60 Primogems and 10,000 Mora. They could also use the code GENSHINGIFT to receive 50 Primogems and three Hero's Wit.
How To Redeem Promo Codes
For those who are not familiar with how to redeem the promo codes, it is worth noting that these codes are redeemed through a different site outside of "Genshin Impact." To start, players need to go to the code redemption site and key in the server, character name and the promo code they wish to use. Players using Sony's PlayStation 4 gaming console can redeem the promo code within the game.
When all of these steps are done, players should open the Settings menu, look for the Account tab and choose Redeem Codes. The promo codes are only available to players with Adventure Rank 10 or higher.
Other Exciting "Genshin Impact" Updates
In other "Genshin Impact" news, miHoYo released a new trailer for one of its upcoming characters, Ganyu. It reveals some details about the character, including her backstory. She is set to be the featured character of the Ganyu Banner, which is expected to arrive in the game on Jan. 12.
On Dec. 23, miHoYo rolled out update 1.2, which unlocked the freezing region of Dragonspine. The new area introduces a new mechanic called Sheer Cold that allows game characters to experience the effects of the freezing temperature. The update also introduced the Chalk Prince and the Dragon event, which is nearing its end at the time of this writing.
"Genshin Impact" players anticipate more content arriving in the future following miHoYo's commitment to rolling out new updates every six weeks.
