'Genshin Impact' Update 1.4: Venti Could Be Next Banner After Hu Tao
KEY POINTS
- A re-run of Venti's banner may take the spotlight in the incoming “Genshin Impact” 1.4 update
- Rumors suggest Rosaria may also be included in the banner's four-star unit list
- The patch is expected to drop on March 17
The final banner for “Genshin Impact’s” 1.3 patch has introduced Hu Tao to the game along with her charming character quest, and the conclusion of the Lantern Rite Festival has fans expecting the game to make a return to Mondstadt.
The “Genshin Impact” 1.4 update is expected to arrive mid-March, shortly after the Hu Tao banner. The lack of any Inazuma news has led fans to speculate that more Mondstadt events will be coming soon, including the Ludi Harpastum and Windbloom events and signs that point to a possible re-run of the Venti banner.
Venti was the first-ever featured five-star character in “Genshin Impact.” It’s not uncommon for gacha games to have re-runs of previous banners after enough time has passed to give new players a chance to obtain these limited-time characters.
Other fans are guessing that Rosaria will also appear in the 1.4 patch. She first appeared in version 1.2 of the game during Albedo’s story quest. Rosaria’s official model, animations and in-game stats have already been leaked online, including the HoneyHunterWorld website, which is famous for its accurate information.
At this point, a re-run of Venti’s banner is nothing but speculation. Previously leaked patch 1.4 information posted on the “Genshin Impact” subreddit has since been deleted, and fans have been left in the dark.
However, the next developer livestream should take place Friday if MiHoYo sticks to its devstream schedule so fans will hopefully not have to wait too long to get more official news.
Zluet from the Genshin Leaks Twitter page also suggests that Venti may be the next five-star banner but did not offer anything conclusive.
The devstream will serve as a sneak peek at what fans can expect in the upcoming patch, including the featured banner, new events and possibly new story quests that will progress the game’s main arc.
Fans are anticipating the arrival of a festival in Monstadt that’s similar to the Lantern Rite Festival in Liyue. This may include more side quests, more activities and possibly another minigame similar to Theater Mechanicus.
The next “Genshin Impact” patch is expected to drop around March 17.
