George, Amal Clooney Stun On Red Carpet, Show Off PDA Amid Divorce Rumors
George and Amal Clooney look just as happy and in love as ever.
On Tuesday, the Clooneys graced the premiere of the actor's new Hulu mini-series "Catch-22" in Hollywood. In photos released by Daily Mail, George and Amal looked gorgeous on the red carpet as they posed for photos with their arms around each other's waist.
For the premiere, Clooney exuded classic Hollywood style in his black suit and white shirt, which he left a few buttons open.
Amal, meanwhile, stunned in a dark green dress that showed off her long legs and lean frame. The gown featured extensive ruching over the torso and a flourish of fabric covering her left arm. The human rights lawyer paired her chic look with a black clutch and stilettos in a matching color.
Clooney serves as a producer for "Catch-22" and also directed the first two episodes of the mini-series. The actor also took on a small role, playing Lieutenant Scheisskopf.
"Catch-22" is based on the 1961 seminal anti-war satire written by Joseph Heller. "Incomparable artful dodger Yossarian, a U.S. Air Force bombardier in World War II, is furious because thousands of people he has never met are trying to kill him; if he attempts to avoid his military assignments, he will be in violation of Catch-22," read the synopsis for the upcoming show.
Aside from Clooney, the mini-series also stars Chris Abbott, Kyle Chandler, Graham Patrick Martin and Hugh Laurie, among others.
Meanwhile, Clooney also sat down for an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where he touched on the topic of turning 58 years old. The "Ocean's 11" star celebrated his birthday on Monday, joking that he feels "nothing is fun" about it.
As for how he celebrated this new milestone, Clooney dished that he enjoyed a low-key dinner with Amal at their home. According to the actor, his lawyer wife had something to be happy about it on that day aside from his birthday.
Amal had apparently been "working literally every single day" to secure the release of Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo from Myanmar. The two Reuters journalists finally recently "walked out of prison."
"That's a good birthday present, wow," Kimmel commented, to which Clooney replied, "She was very happy. I got nothing."
