George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin Divorce Rumors: 'Gravity' Actor Reportedly Doesn't Understand Wife's Hectic Schedule

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are among the most followed Hollywood couples today. The “Ocean’s Eleven” star and Lebanese-British barrister tied the knot on Sept. 27, 2016, in a glamorous Venice wedding. More than three years since they officially became Mr. and Mrs. Clooney, divorce rumors started hounding the pair.

“He doesn’t understand why Amal doesn’t just cut back on her work and enjoy the high life with him, but that’s not how she’s wired. As they get older, the differences between them are becoming more and more obvious, and Amal’s not sure she likes where it’s going at all,” an insider told the entertainment news outlet. “This life isn’t what she pictured – she had hoped they’d really settle down and live a quiet family life, and maybe even have some more kids. But she’s finding it very hard to pin her husband down for anything as serious as that. In fact, one of the main gripes she has is that George doesn’t spend enough time with Alex and Ella as it is,” it went on.

The same informant claimed that Amal Alamuddin thought the distance will make George Clooney miss them and realize that he belongs with her and their children. However, the plan is not working at all since the “Up in the Air” actor, reportedly, does not even care about spending time with his family. The tipster, also, stated that George enjoys his freedom sans Amal that he, allegedly, suggested making their current arrangement permanent.

Amid the rumored debacle on his marriage, there are speculations saying that George Clooney is planning to run for office. A certain Tanya, reportedly, told New Idea that Amal Alamuddin’s better half might want to enter politics and run for Los Angeles mayor after the term of incumbent mayor Eric Garcetti ends in 2022.

“He is upgrading the house because he’s getting ready to run for office,” the insider told the magazine. “George held a fundraiser for Obama on the tennis court here and another for Hillary Clinton where it was [$1500] a plate. He’s big in the Democratic Party,” it continued.

Both George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have yet to comment on these never-ending divorce rumors. However, with Woman’s Day and New Idea Magazine’s history of publishing stories based on the accounts of its anonymous and phony sources, this could just be another works of fiction waiting to be quashed.
