After two years together with his super-attractive girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor George Clooney has become single again.

We are not together anymore, the ex-couple announced in a public joint statement. It's very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.

George Clooney, who has starred in films like 'Batman & Robin' and 'Ocean’s Eleven' and his Italian model Elisabetta, were considered a hot couple despite their age difference - Clooney is nearly 50 years old while Elisabetta is 32.

Just recently, Elisabetta told the Italian magazine Chi that for the time being she was very happy and she saw the marriage with George at hand.

They were also spotted having a candlelit dinner together in Como, Italy a week ago. Who can imagine that their love game would become over merely one week later?

It seems that Clooney's love life has been bumpy. After ending his 4-year-long marriage life with Talia Balsam in 1993, he has changed several girlfriends, from British model Lisa Snowdon, cocktail waitress/reality TV personality Sarah Larson to most recently, Canalis.

Who will be Clooney's next? We’ll need to wait and see.
