George Clooney has revealed that his wife Amal Clooney has been watching his hit show "ER," and his character Doug Ross has gotten him in "a lot of trouble."

During an appearance on the podcast "SmartLess" Monday with Sean Hayes, Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, Clooney shared how his wife is reacting to the episodes of the medical drama that ran from 1994 to 2009.

"My wife is watching them now and it's getting me in a lot of trouble because I'd forgotten all of the terrible things [his character Doug Ross] was doing picking up on women," said the 59-year-old actor.

Even though many women had a soft spot for his character, Clooney made it clear that Amal is not one of them.

When Bateman said it would be funny if Amal began to get starstruck with her husband on the basis of the appeal of his character, Clooney said, "Yeah, that's not my wife."

The Hollywood A-lister played Doug Ross, a pediatrician, from 1994 to 1999. The character was a dedicated doctor and a ladies' man. He ultimately married nurse Carol Hathaway, who was played by Julianna Margulies.

The "Midnight Sky" star left the show in Season 5 to focus on making films but made a guest appearance in the show's 15th and final season in 2009.

As for his latest project, Clooney will be shooting a rom-com titled "Ticket to Paradise" in Queensland, Australia, reported the Sydney Morning Herald. It will bring him and "Ocean’s Twelve " co-star Julia Roberts together on the big screen.

In the upcoming movie, the two actors will play a divorced couple who rushes to Bali to stop their daughter from getting married.

"Ticket to Paradise" will be produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title Films, which is a British production company that has backed hit romantic comedies such as "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "Love Actually" and "Notting Hill."

“We have worked in Australia before and found the local crews to be extremely professional. We are looking forward to collaborating once again on this exciting project," Bevan said in a statement.

Billie Lourd is reportedly in talks to star in "Ticket to Paradise," which is being helmed by Ol Parker, reported Deadline.

The "American Horror Story" actress is expected to play Wren Butler, a recent University of Chicago graduate who accompanies her best friend Lily on a post-graduation trip to Bali. The role of Lily has not yet been finalized.
