UPDATE 2:21 p.m. EST: The two victims have been identified as women. One was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the abdomen, according to CBS Atlanta. A witness told the station that the shooting occurred inside the Kroger.

Police are investigating a possible shooting Monday inside a Kroger supermarket in Georgia.

Atlanta television station WSB said two people were taken to the hospital following the incident inside a Kroger in Lawrenceville, Ga. Two people were also taken into custody.

A fight may have preceded the shooting, police told WSB. A witness heard gunshots inside the food store.
