Gigi Hadid Owns The Runway At New York Fashion Week

Gigi Hadid owned the runway at the New York Fashion Week on Wednesday. The renowned model hit the runway for the Proenza Schouler show as the event kicked off in New York City on Wednesday, marking her first runway strut of the season.

Photos and clips from the festivities show Hadid wearing a long-sleeved dress with a yellow and blue pattern attached to a black vest. Her natural beauty stood out on the runway, where she was joined by other models in their own colorful ensembles.

Clad in the brand’s spring and summer 2022 collection, other renowned celebrities who hit the runway were Emily Ratajkowski and Tommy Dorfman. Dorfman shared a snap of her strut at the outdoor show on her Instagram Story, showing herself and the other models wearing their fiercest looks as they stood still on the runway. “Choose your fighter,” she wrote in her post.

Hadid, who also took to her Instagram Story to share footage from the show, couldn’t hide her excitement leading up to the big moment when she posted snaps from her shoots earlier in the morning. “Fashion month begins,” she captioned her post.

Every year, the New York Fashion Week boasts its lineup of famous celebrities. Other celebrities who graced the event were Lori Harvey, Ciara and Amelia Hamlin, who appeared in the Bronx and Banco’s Wednesday show just a day after her breakup with Scott Disick made headlines.

Photos from the event showed Amelia donning a pale blue cutout dress and Grecian-inspired footwear as she strutted down the runway. A major head-turner at the fashion event, the 20-year-old daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin earned praises for being able to step out in style after his controversial split from Disick.

“Amelia seemed upbeat, not somber,” a source told E! News. “She was tired from that show because it was so hot but looked really pretty and was excited to go to the next stop. She was really friendly to everyone.”
