Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been dating for quite some time now, and it seems like the relationship is only getting strong. What do their parents think of the relationship, though?

Well, it looks like Hadid’s mother, Yolanda, is all for it. In an Instagram post, Yolanda gushed over her daughter’s romance with the former One Direction member. Posting a photo of the young couple, David Foster’s ex said: “Happiness is seeing your kids happy and realizing they turned out to be really good and genuine people.”

With Yolanda’s blessing, it seems like there Gigi and Malik have one less of a problem in terms of their romance. The two can’t help but gush about each other. In an interview with ES magazine, Gigi shared what she likes most about the “Pillow Talk” singer.

“I would say his brain,” the model said. “For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work and that is really important.”

Gigi added that they do a lot of casual stuff together and they treat each other as best friends. “We both feel we can talk about anything and learn a lot from one another,” the model added.

Malik has also shared the reason why he fell for Gigi and why their relationship continues to work.

Speaking with Elle U.K. the singer said Gigi is a very intelligent woman, and that’s one of the reasons why their relationship runs smoothly. He also said that being part of the same industry has helped them understand each other better.

Malik confirmed he is dating Gigi in Feb. 2016 during an interview with Westwood One’s “Zach Sang and the Gang.” Prior to Malik’s confirmation, there had been many rumors about the two’s romance. The speculations grew stronger when Gigi appeared in Malik’s music video for “Pillow Talk.”
